We shall begin our unit looking at one of the most amazing characters of the 20th century, Gandhi. This great leader not only changed the face of the world while he was alive but continues to serve as a positive influence.

This is a very inspirational topic--and also a thought-provoking one: Shall we perpetuate acts of injustice through passively accepting them or do something active (but non-violent) to foster change?
